After a successful first year in 2016, we were excited to host another olifu Kids’ Party!
The olifu corporate group extended an invitation to our second annual Kids’ Party on June 24, 2017 on company grounds in Grünberg, Hesse, in Germany.
With excellent sunny weather and temperatures just above 20°C, we welcomed 450 guests – even more than at our first party the year before. We offered our guests an amazing selection of fun and games, with a bouncy castle, a giant 7m slide, a race course for our Racer and Snake vehicles, a new trampoline, a Colour Magic Workshop, our new Jet Foot (new kind of table soccer), and a special raffle. Our main attraction was a show by Martin Pfeiffer, a beloved German children’s musician.
For our special raffle, every ticket was a winner! At the end of our festivities, we drew for the three grand prizes: an olifu bikez Snake (the main prize), an olifu bikez Racer and a child’s chair!
This is the first year that we decided to charge an entrance fee for our Kids’ Party, and it was important to us that half of the proceeds be donated to support a good cause.
We collected a total of 500€, which was donated to the Parents’ Association of the children's cancer charity in Giessen, Germany.
We chose to support this very important association, as a child’s positive cancer diagnosis hits families very hard and very suddenly. We also donated many toys to the play room of this association.
Our next Kids’ Party will take place on August 18, 2018! We hope that your summer plans lead you to celebrate with us in Grünberg!
