Who are we?
olifu, the parent company of our current corporate group, was established in 1986. The subsidiary “spiele gut” Sales Ltd. (translated: Play Well) joined the team in 1988. Between 1986 and 1999, both companies were primarily engaged as distributors for educational and pedagogical supplies that they acquired at trade fairs around the world.
To help us form our new identity in the year 2000, we revisited the core of our company and made some changes to reflect our vision. In addition to commercial sales, we created our own development department, which remains close to the heart of our company visionary and namesake, Oliver Funk.
He is consistently supported by educators and therapists, along with designers and a product manager, as he continues to develop new and exclusive products.
Our company vision is reflected in all our products and thus forms the basis of our lighthouse principle:

Today, the products and concepts developed in-house at olifu und spiele account for well over 95% of the total range and can also be experienced worldwide thanks to our partner companies. Before the new products go on active sale, they are subjected to intensive long-term testing by children of different age groups.

Since 2017, our unique Vehicle Doctor service has been providing support to help keep your fleet of toy vehicles safe and driveable. There are different service packages you can book in order to meet your specific vehicle needs.
Another service that we have been offering on customer request since 2018 is our workshops on the concepts. In the workshops, you, your colleagues and the children will experience, for example, how large quantities of the same material awaken your creativity. A recurring “aha experience” in the workshops is the combination options of our different concepts that have arisen through the standardization.
