The Snail Shell is a game enjoyed by players of all ages. Place the wooden pegboard “shell” in the middle of the table and place the wooden pegs next to it (in a bowl, for example). The first player takes a peg and places it in any hole in the snail shell pegboard. Taking turns, each player tries to place a peg in a free hole, but this is not as simple as it may seem! The pegs disappear into the holes, so players must rely on their memory to choose a free hole. If a hole has already been filled, the player loses a point and keeps the peg. Before the game begins, players decide together how many minus points determine the end of the game. This game requires concentration, trains memory as well as fine motor skills, and is all around a lot of fun! Children of all ages will have many hours of fun with this social game at home, at daycare, or at school.
The snail shell requires concentration. It not only trains memory and motor skills, but is also a lot of fun. This cross-age parlour game offers many hours of activity both in the institution and privately at home.
