The overall concept of "Pebbles" is a new development in board games. The game consists of several elements. The basic element is a 50cm x 50cm hanging board (multiplex board in birch with anti-slip feet), the dark brown stained barriers are made of beech wood, and the bamboo game pieces and the dice come in four different colours. Pebbles is a strategic game which can be played on its own, i.e., without additional accessories, and offers a wide range of variations. If accessories are included, the appearance of the playscape changes entirely. Tactical play is very important in this game, whether it is played with or without accessories. Experimentation and strategy development are paramount but the fun factor is also the main part of the game. Overall, it enhances the perception of different materials, trains motor skills and social competence, and teaches an acceptance of the concept of rules.
